Experienced Financial Advisor Richard Osuji Joins 1792 Wealth Advisors in Morristown

enterprise value is an important metric to consider when moving to a supported independence platform

1792 Wealth Advisors, an independent wealth management practice affiliated with Raymond James, is pleased to announce that Richard Osuji, a dedicated and relationship-driven financial advisor, has joined its Morristown office.

Richard brings a decade of experience advising individuals, families, and business owners on investment strategies, retirement planning, and comprehensive wealth management. His journey in finance began in the heart of New York City, working just steps away from the New York Stock Exchange at Allied Millennial Partners, a small boutique investment firm. This early exposure gave him a front-row seat to the fast-paced world of capital markets and ignited his passion for financial planning.

He later transitioned to Morgan Stanley as a planning associate, where he rotated through multiple office teams to gain hands-on experience with different advisor models and client service strategies. This immersive approach allowed Richard to develop a deep understanding of financial planning and client engagement, laying the groundwork for the advisor he is today.

Richard then joined Wells Fargo Advisors, where he built the foundation of his practice by focusing on thoughtful planning and client education. Eventually, he joined a top-tier, $700 million team of three senior advisors and three client service professionals. There, he worked directly with clients to help them define, refine, and achieve their financial goals—strengthening his belief that planning always precedes product.

“I’m excited to join 1792 Wealth Advisors because it allows me to operate with greater independence and flexibility while staying true to my planning-first philosophy,” said Osuji. “For me, investing isn’t just about returns—it’s about process. A well-structured, personalized financial plan is the blueprint that helps clients stay on course, especially in uncertain times.”

Known for his calm demeanor and client-first approach, Richard focuses on creating clarity for his clients. He believes financial success begins with listening deeply, understanding what matters most, and then building strategies around those priorities—not the other way around.

“Richard is a driven, client-centric advisor whose values align closely with ours,” said Robert Milligan Jr., Founding Partner at 1792 Wealth Advisors. “We’re proud to welcome him and confident he’ll bring tremendous value to our clients and our team.”

Richard Osuji now joins 1792 Wealth Advisors’ Morristown office, where he will continue delivering high-touch, customized guidance. His goal remains unchanged: to help clients simplify the complex, gain confidence in their financial decisions, and build lasting legacies for generations to come.
